Talla started making artisan clogs in Finland in 1968 when Dr Touko Ollila founded the company. With the expertise of his orthopedist colleagues, he developed a wooden sole, which provides the footbed with comfort and support. Talla still use wood and raw materials in their clogs. Since the early days, the company have used premium leather quality, are proud to have co-operated with talented Finnish designers and design houses including Marimekko. Talla is still a family owned business and all of the clogs are still made in Myrskylä, Finland.
