By placing an order with Everyday Needs, you confirm your understanding and agreement that you are bound by these Terms below.

Online Process

We must receive payment for the entire total of your order, including any shipping charges, before your order is accepted. Once Everyday Needs receives your payment, you will then receive an order confirmation email to the email address you provided on your order form.

Items will then be dispatched, and you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number via email.

Payment

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shop Pay using the PCI-compliant gateway Shopify Payments. We also accept payment using Afterpay and Laybuy.

All credit card and debit card holders are subject to validation and authorisation by us and our bank to maintain security and prevent fraud.

Pre-orders

If your order with us includes products that are on pre-order, we will hold your entire order in store until we have received all pre-ordered items. Your order will be shipped to you once fully complete. If you would prefer to receive in-stock and pre-order items separately, please place them in two separate orders so shipping is charged accordingly.

Currency

Alternative currencies to NZD shown on our site are for your convenience, please ensure you have selected the most relevant currency based on your location for correct pricing. You can choose to view the price in your currency by selecting from the top-right drop-down menu. If you live outside New Zealand and have a foreign currency credit card, the amount in New Zealand dollars will be charged to your card using your provider's current exchange rate. Please remember that buy/sell exchange rates can differ depending on when your credit card provider processes the transaction, so the amount that appears on your credit card statement may be slightly different from the converted invoiced amount. Credit card companies may also charge international payment fees and/or commission for selling you foreign currency. Please contact your credit card provider directly for their terms and conditions.

Our Returns Policy

We happily accept returns on full-priced items that are in their original condition for an exchange or credit. We do not provide refunds on change of mind purchases. Sale items can not be returned. In the unfortunate event that an item may be faulty, please see the below procedure.

Please send your returns back within 7 days of receiving your order

Exchange is subject to availability and we recommend submitting your request via email promptly to arrange the exchange. A credit may be supplied subject to our assessment and at our discretion.

Returns Process

All items need to be returned to us within 7 days of receiving, and the costs of return are at the expense of the customer. Once the item has been received they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will either be sent your exchange or we can apply credit to your account.

If there are signs that the item is not up to quality, we reserve the right to refuse the return and will communicate with you around this.

Faulty Items

The team at Everyday Needs takes special care to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before delivering it to you. We will also carefully package your items to protect them during transit. In the unlikely event of a faulty item being received, we will of course replace the item at our cost.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt, and any items deemed subject to general wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Returns of faulty items must be returned within 7 days of you receiving the item. Please email us so we can keep a replacement item aside for you.

We will replace the faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, exchange for another item, receive a refund or simply apply credit to your account please make this clear when contacting studio@everyday-needs.com about the fault.

Pricing and Description Accuracy

Prices and descriptions on our website are current at the time of display and are subject to variation without notice. At Everyday Needs, we do our best to maintain accurate descriptions and pricing but cannot guarantee our site be error-free at all times.

The unprecedented increase in cost and decrease in availability of some products in our offering due to changing global economic circumstances, will likely have these reflected in their prices.

Everyday Needs is not liable to any person for any loss which may arise from any of the changing information contained in any of the products listed on our website.

Privacy and Security

We collect customer information so that we can process your orders as efficiently as possible. All your information is kept secure and we will not disclose or share this information to other parties under any circumstances. We do not record credit card details; all credits cards are processed through the PCI-compliant gateway Shopify Payments.

Joining the Everyday Needs mailing list and loyalty program is optional, and we recommend it! IIf you have signed up to our mailing list and would like to unsubscribe, you can either click on the unsubscribe button located on our emails, or simply email us with unsubscribe in the subject area, and we shall remove you from the list.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and you will not receive marketing emails from us just because you have placed an order in the past. Unless you want to receive our newsletter of course! You'll also be asked if you want to sign up if you place an order. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent or it is directly relevant to an order you have placed.

The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address and email address. These are collected by Shopify for the strict intention of processing your order and will not be used for any other purpose, nor will they be disclosed to a third party. As Shopify Payments processes all payments, we have no access to any credit card numbers or bank details at any point.

Customs Charges on International Orders

Everyday Needs has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country, and for which you may be liable.

The title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. When ordering from Everyday Needs, you are considered the “importer of record” and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Depending on the destination, you may have to pay additional taxes or import duties. Everyday Needs will not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information.
