Journal // Townhouse by Claude Megson

Claude Megson, celebrated New Zealand architect and subject of book Counter Constructions built a number of homes around Auckland in the mid century. This townhouse was built in 1969 for artist Milan Mrkusich.

Megson's designs have been described as "having an underlying logic and humanity" and he is placed among New Zealand's most notable architects of the mid-century period.
