Founded in 1965 Rodopska Takan is nestled in the town of Smolyan in the Rhodope mountains. Dedicated to promoting and carrying on the legacy of Bulgaria's finest textile artisans from the Rhodope region they prioritise sourcing wool from local shepherds to support the local community as well as to preserve a vital part of their heritage.
