"I do a lot of experimenting with different clay and then just using a clear glaze. It's amazing the huge variety of colour you can get this way - butter, mulberry, ash, black and obviously every shade of delicious cream, sand and brown you can imagine. There is something so lovely about being able to see the actual fired clay beneath the glaze, and all the subtle colours and speckles within it."
