Eleanor Pritchard Wool Linen Blend Cushion
The dimpled fabric in this beautiful 'half and half' cushion is created through the interplay of the unique characteristics of the natural wool and linen yarns. The linen is grown in Northern Europe and the yarn has an irregular quality that adds to the character of the fabric. Named for the flower of the field mustard or charlock plant this upbeat design has a pleasing tactile surface. Cushion backing is a beautiful, contrasting granite grey. 50% linen and 50% wool. Supplied with a feather down cushion inner.
Eleanor Pritchard textiles are made in the UK by well-respected and highly-skilled British weavers. The pieces are woven on ‘dobcross’ shuttle looms at a small traditional mill in West Wales. We love the colour and pattern featured in Eleanor's prints. "My work often has a mid-century quality and I feel a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and I see much of my work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.”
